Stephen graduated from the Philippine College Health Science Philippines with a degree in Physiotherapy in 1997 . He began working as Physiotherapist in 1997 and gained his first clinical experience working in a wide range of settings from orthopaedics , Neurological and Gerriatric rehabs both in public and private practice.
Stephen’s greatest passion to help alleviate pain and his keen interest in Musculoskeletal condition specially in Spine, shoulder & knee Injuries.
Prior to joining Urban rehab. Stephen began working as a physiotherapist in different countries such as North Africa, Canada where he gained more clinical experience as a clinician and has been practising in Singapore Since 2004 where he worked for almost 15 years as a Senior Physio at Camden medical centre Singapore were he specialised and one of the very few certified in aquatic therapy in treating spine/neuro/orthopaedic conditions.
Stephen pursued his career and completed his post certification in Aquatic therapy in Aquatic Therapy Rehab Institute -USA 2010 & 2011, Spinal Manual Therapy under Manual Concept in London 2012 , knee kinesiography under EMOVI in 2021.
As a Physiotherapist Steph believes in a holistic approach to care and guides his patient towards speedy recovery with a combination of electrotherapy, manual therapy and exercise prescription approach.
Outside work Stephen is a traveller , he enjoy travelling the world to find and experienced preserved culture and tradition
